Experience Highlights:

•    I taught full time at Kunming University of Science and Technology in Kunming for three years. The classes are “English Speaking and Listening”. I taught over 250 students per week and designed the curriculum for the courses. I am also proficient in lesson planning, grading, exams and quiz preparation and I have TESOL certification (500 hours).

•    I have taught Business English at Telfort Business Institute which is affiliated with Shanghai Institute of Technology University (S.I.T.) located in Shanghai, China. I taught four separate classes (about 25 university students per session) a day.  I was working about 35 class hours a week. The students are between 19-21 years of age and have been studying all aspects of business while further developing their English speaking skills.

•    When I lived in Shanghai (I had been back to the U.S. for a year), I immediately became employed with AEA English Academy. I taught Korean kindergarten and adult students full time until the summer. I moved to Telfort Business Institute (S.I.T.) on September 14th, 2009 to continue my current English teaching career.

•    Previously, I had lived in Shanghai between 2007 and 2008 for exactly one year and created and led corporate English classes. I taught English to fourteen employees at Diebold in Pudong and twelve engineers at Interra Corporation in Shanghai. I also tutored two vice presidents separately in private classes, as well as tutoring other students.

•    In the U.S., I led educational classes and seminars, sometimes to groups of over 200 people over a seven-year period. I taught students a specially designed curriculum for personal effectiveness in many important areas of their lives. I provided motivation and inspiration and led with a very interactive style of teaching. I have worked with a wide age range of people.  

•    I effectively delivered an educational curriculum specially designed by the Landmark Education school. I spent hundreds of hours being specially trained to deliver the material in a very informative and powerful way. The teaching training was quite rigorous and extensive. My results were excellent and the students were always very pleased. I taught hundreds of people to be effective at work, in relationships and in their lives.
