ELL students in history, math, and science; mentored graduate students in local university’s TESL
program; taught one year of response to intervention (RtI) reading for at-risk students; co-taught
one section of biology for English language learners and increased ELL pass rate of state biology
exam 48% in one year; wrote and won $500 grant to buy supplemental leveled readers for ELL
students; assistant girls tennis coach; Asian Society club co-sponsor.
