Acting head of faculty Design and technology – Holte Visual and performing arts college
As head of faculty I am responsible for the teaching and learning of all pupils who are taught design and technology. I manage the subject disciplines of textiles, graphics, resistant materials, food and product design and lead a team of 12 people. I am responsible for my team’s delivery of outstanding teaching lessons and facilitate their professional development through in house training and mentoring.
· Deliver the design and technology national curriculum from 11-16.
· Plan and deliver AS and A level courses in 3D product design and Textiles.
