6 Sep 2011 – 30 May 2012 – English tutoring to 9th grade children, preparation for the national exam, school # 22, Kharkiv, Ukraine.
15 Oct. 2012 – 20 Apr. 2013 – Private English tutoring, preparation for the entry exams for college, school # 22, Kharkiv, Ukraine.
8 Sep. 2013 – 12 Apr. 2014 – English teacher at “Rybka” Kindergarten, Private English teacher for “Kharkiv kollegium” students.
While being an exchange student in the US, I was a private English teacher to the Bellingham Elementary school students, mostly from Russia and Ukraine, whose parents moved there. The lessons were both privately with one child, and with a group of kids. We were learning mostly words and basic grammar, needed for communication.
After I came back from the US, I started giving private English lessons at elementary school # 17, to 1-3 graders. Same as before, the lessons were mostly on the words and basic grammar. After that I worked in school # 22 with 9-graders, helping them prepare for the national exam, we were working on grammar, specific words, and on the topics that were given to them in a school class.
Later on, I was a private teacher, helping 11-graders pass the entry exams for college. We worked on their advanced English level. Each of them passed the exams. Then I worked as a teacher in “Rybka” Kindergarten, with pre-school children, where I taught English sounds and basic words. At the same time, I was giving private lessons to students from “Kharkiv kollegium” university. Mostly what we did was communication on diverse topics, like history, politics, military, technical sciences, to improve a certain sphere of their lexis.
