1. Leisure and Recreation Intern, St Philomena’s Children’s Home, 2012
Duties include:
 Conducting a needs analysis to establish programs and
facilities in existence and the needs of the children.
 To conduct leisure activities with the children
 Developing a fitness trail on the grounds of St Philomena’s
including the development of policies.
 Preparing a budget for the fitness trail
2. A volunteer for the inaugural LARASA Conference in 2012
Duties Included:
 Ushering, registering, and direction of the guests and speakers to the venues
 Aiding in the preparation of venues
3. A volunteer for the 2013 LARASA Conference
 Part of the organizing committee, assisted in registering and invoicing of guests, liaising with speakers, marketing the event
 Data capturing of the speaker evaluation sheets
4. Practical Assistant – UKZN Sport Science (2013)
Duties Included:
 Preparation and conducting of the lectures, preparation of tests and exams
5. Fitness Instructor – Virgin Active
 Assist members with exercises
 Assist members with training and eating programs
 Conduct floor classes
 Conduct exercise classes for kids
 Maintenance of the gym floor
