Tasks at the Icelandic MFA:
 The Ministry mainly made use of my extensive writing and analytical abilities. Wrote minutes, analysis, memos and reports. Drafted press releases.
 Sat through meetings and took notes and provided information: 1- on- 1 meetings between ambassadors, multilateral meetings in institutions (EFTA, EEA, SCHENGEN) and bilateral meetings between governments (Iceland – China FTA negotiations).
 Updated factsheets on over 12 countries as well as the main European Institutions.
 Wrote weekly news bulletins for the Minister of foreign affairs about the aforementioned countries and institutions as well as on Chinese politics and society that required media analysis in foreign languages. Maintained the missions’ website as well as twitter and facebook account.
 Considerable experience of administrative and consular affairs.
 Organized events and high level visits, communicated with protocol officers and others. Hands on experience with being put in charge of preparing and executing special programs, both during political visits and cultural events.
