Career objective: 

To become a teacher of foundation to advanced level English and English literature. This could include private tutoring, advanced classes at younger ages and assistant teaching.

Preferred job locations: Chengdu, Sichuan, P.R.C.

Preferred occupation: Teaching assistant, tutor, foundation level English literature tutoring/teaching.

Expected salary: Between 5000 – 8000 RMB/Yuan per month. I can be flexible if a lower salary includes certain benefits.

Preferred work time/hours: Able and willing to work 5-7 days a week for the duration of an entire school day, including any possible out of classroom activities and after school activities.

Professional experience: 

2 years of highly intensive paid charity work involving use of people skills, including dealing with children on a regular basis. Before this, I was working in the animal care business which also involved interacting with children in near-classroom like environments. My total experience in the animal husbandry business is roughly 2 years, bringing my total overall work experience to 4 years. I was also an assistant to my mother in her line of work, which involved caring for large groups of children on educational trips outside of school.

High School: 

Tavistock College, Devon, England, UK. From early 2015 I am to be enrolled at the Open University for a degree in English literature. The open university is a distance learning college in the United Kingdom, which can be studied with in just about any country. This degree is part-time and will thus not interfere with any full time work I may acquire in China.

Highest degree: GCSE High School diploma at a good English

pass grade (A-C). Since high school I am largely self-taught, which included greatly improving my English and people skills, as well as my knowledge in many general subjects – including China. Along with this, I also have a degree in small and medium sized animal husbandry, which may come in use with possible nature and animal-based activities out/in the classroom. I plan on completing my TEFL 120-hour online course by December 2014.

Languages: English, native speaker, capable of speaking simple, clear, basic English to younger audiences.
