Projects

Eskom PDP - The construction at Paulputs Main Transmission Substation (132kV in feed

point) to accommodate the integration of the 100MW solar Independent Power Producer

works.

Eskom PDP - The Expansion of the Garona Substation (Garona 275/15kV SVC).

Eskom PDP - The Construction of the 400/50kV Lewensaar Substation.

Eskom PDP - The Construction of the 20km 400kV loop in and loop out lines.

Roles and Responsibilities during all projects:

 Operate within Eskom, Enterprises Division, CED and PDF policies, procedures, and

guidelines.

 Environmental Management.

 Site specific ISO 14001 implementation.

 Environmental Supervision.

 Environmental Audits.

 Training and induction.

 Compile, influence and contribute to the development and implementation of the

Environmental Management Plan as per the approved Record of Decision (ROD) and

Site Specific Environmental Management Plan (EMP).

 Utilise all relevant processes and tools for the management of contractors on site as per

approved contract principles and Site Management Plan process documents. This

should be in line with the Contracts, site specific requirements, site activities and

controlling of these.

 Compile, influence and contribute to the development and implementation of the
