ESL Lecturer
 Developed student-centered oral and written English curriculum and instructional materials, based on authentic English texts and videos. Prepared weekly lesson plans and conducted classroom instruction. Provided students with total immersion in the American English language, by having students write and act in reader’s theater plays, perform in poetry slams, participate in debates, publish class magazines, write a variety of essays, and direct short films. All lessons and activities were adapted to student ability and interest.
 Assisted HR in screening perspective teachers. Observed and assessed teacher performance and interviewed applicants. Supervised students participating in the Chinese national CCTV Cup English Speaking Contest.

 Produced high-achieving students with above average reading levels through activities that increase fluency and comprehension. Published student literary magazine and organized several educational contests. Lead extra-curricular activities, such as photography, Chinese checkers, martial arts, and kickball.
