 Modernizing the state banking and trust codes creating preeminent markets for financial investment;
 Increasing regulations to authorize crowdfunding for certain small securities offerings;
 Establishing a tourism taskforce to identify long-term funding for a state tourism marketing program;
 Streamlining the data collection and reporting process of economic development organizations to improve
the delivery of technical assistance to businesses throughout the state;
 Supporting the Beyond the Border action plan on perimeter security and economic competitiveness
between the United States and Canada;
 Reauthorizing the use of lodging tax revenues for tourism marketing and specific expenditures designed to
attract tourists to Washington State; and
 Directing the Office of Regulatory Assistance to work collaboratively with local jurisdictions and state
agencies to reduce the regulatory burden on businesses by instituting best permitting practices.
