St Thomas Primary School (Sept 2013 to Dec 2014)
Major contributions:    
    Taught general education students as well as individuals with learning challenges and special needs within a mainstreamed, inclusive classroom.
    Developed innovative approaches that were repeatedly held up as the model standard for meeting district goals in areas including technology integration across the curriculum, literacy, experimental learning and diversity.
    Actively served on a variety of school committees and task forces focused on curriculum development, textbook review, fundraising and anti-bullying efforts.
    Rapidly became a “first to call” resource  in current substitute teaching role, typically working four hours per week, with personal requests from many full-time teachers to take over their classes during absences.
    Consistently acclaimed for the ability to redirect students exhibiting behavior problems by substituting unproductive and disruptive patterns with positive behaviors.
    Exercised high efficiency in communication lines that pioneered the establishment of positive relationships with students, parents and teachers and the school administrators.
Moray Primary School (Jan 2006 to April 2009)
    Employed as a full time English teacher, taking children of age groups between 5 and 12 years old.
    Instructed and communicated with linguistically, racially and culturally diverse students.
    Planned, scheduled and undertook elementary physical program, with each class motivated to meet students, instructional level.
    Created positive behavior management plan, actively engaging students to limit behavior issues, using a variety of techniques to fit situation and child when challenges arose.
    Adapted lessons and classes for students with special needs, including those with Down’s syndrome, working with special education teacher to form strategies for individual students.
