September 2010 - June 2011: Teaching English as a foreign language at the Hunan Golf and Tourism Institute in Changde County, Hunan Province, China. I was teaching classes that ranged in size from roughly ten to forty students, with students aged between 17 and 18. I thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching at the school and I believe that I took a lot of useful experience from my time there.

     September 2011 – July 2012: Teaching at Quanzhou Foreign Language Middle School in Quanzhou city, Fujian province. I was teaching classes of around 50 students each, both junior 1 (grade 7) and senior one (grade 10), with students aged between 13 and 17. Whilst in Quanzhou I also taught at the Kings International English training school there from October until August.

     February 2013 – June 2014: After studying Chinese at Sichuan University for one semester Quanzhou Foreign Language Middle School contacted me and offered me a teaching position if I would be willing to return to Quanzhou, which I accepted. I worked at the school in the same role as before for a further three semesters.
