-      Personal Development Coordinator for staff with a mission to promote student-centred models with teachers acting as facilitators.

-      International Culture Day Coordinator with Student Union.

-      Involvement and liaison with the Student Representation Group on countless extracurricular activities with a view to building bridges for enhanced communication.

-      Curriculum design of grammar elements and generation of ppts support material and lesson plans for all levels.

·        May – June 2012 – Replacement teacher -(large private International English High/Junior School near Hangzhou/China).

Two months in the Kindergarten (ages 3-6) and primary school/standard program (ages 6-10) and Cambridge weekend course (ages 8-12)

·        July- August/Sep 2012:  Thailand –Substitute teacher (Surin, Nakon Sawan rural area) - 3 different  high schools (M1-M6). (Excellent reference available).

·        October 2012- International School in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province China. Substitute for 3 months, primary grade 2, class-master, USA Curriculum (Trophies Book). All aspects:  writing, handwriting, grammar, reading, listening, speaking, phonics.

·        May 2013 - Academic school year in high school in Southern Thailand M1-M6.

·        January 2014 - September 2014 - Set up rural project in Kui Buri area 4 small schools. Kindergarten, Junior (P1- 6), High School (M1 - M3) and local government offices. (Reference available).

·        September 2014- Luzhou High School, Sichuan/China. Senior high school level one and in Hejiang branch school,  grade 1 (junior school) and kindergarten! Large groups of 60 kids, using self-generated ppts and  multimedia tools to stimulate, create interest and encourage debate. Communications and conversation classes. Need to manage 2800 students over two week cycle!

·        September 2014 – Ongoing cooperation in three other private language schools (references available), special events/activities, one on one tutoring.

·        July/August 2015: Private tutoring Kui Buri area/Prechuap Khirikhan. Specializing in active games and activities for children.

1978 – Matriculation RBHS/Cape Town, South Africa (special interests - English/French/History).

1986 – Graduated from the University of Cape Town, BA Degree.

Triple major in French, German and Italian (Translation and Literature)

1988 – 1989 Honors Degree in French/linguistics and translation via Unisa (Correspondence University of South Africa (Thesis on Marguerite Duras) while living in Barcelona/Spain.

2008 – 40 Hour online I-to-I TEFL certificate.
