NMFUK is a bi-national charity working in the UK and Nigeria. The NMFUK projects involve orphan sponsorship and providing healthcare and education to people living within the rural areas of Nigeria. I was jointly responsible for the running of the Newcastle chapter office. I often used excel databases, edited the website and handled correspondence for the charity. For the 2014 annual conference, I helped design the conference brochure using Microsoft Publisher and also took part in the co ordination of the conference as well as being one of the speakers.

I began working with Elanders as a receptionist to cover for sickness, later when the permanent receptionist returned I was asked if I would like to stay on and work in the warehouse. I was packaging books, filling pallets and sending them to the dispatch department to be sent out.

This was a part time job whilst studying at university. As a guest service porter I was the first point of contact for guests upon their arrival at the hotel. I had to be welcoming and informative about the city and the surrounding areas.
