English language teacher (Aug 2013-present)

Sirirattanathorn School, Udom Suk, Bangkok

A government high school located in Bangkok. I am currently on my second teaching year at SRT.

• Conversation teacher      on the regular programme for grade 11-12 students
• Prepare and deliver      lessons aimed at improving students pronunciation and listening and      speaking skills
• Help students with      their reading and writing skills
• Attended several camps      and other activities for the students
• Set and grade exams      four times per year and record all attendance and class participation      scores
• Regularly cover for      teachers absent with students ranging from M1-M6

Kids Camp Leader (March 2014 – present)

D’Eng Club, Ram Inthra

With d’Eng, I regularly run 1 day camps for kids aged 6 – 13

• Regularly lead kids      camp and ensure kids are having fun
• Activities involve      teaching, playing games and learning through music and dance
• Co-ordinate with my      camp assistants to ensure the smooth running of activities
• Supervise all DIY      activities and ensure health and safety standards at all times
• Continuously take      notes about students progression to be passed to management
• Give feedback to kids      parents about their progress

Content Writer using English language

(Jan 2011 – Jan 2012) Populis Media Ltd, Dublin, Ireland

• This      role involved writing content on a range of topics for various different      well-known UK websites
• Topics      I wrote about included jobs, travel and finance and consumer electronics
• I      had in excess of 1,000 extremely high quality articles published in this      time
• During      my time with Populis, I developed my English language writing skills      significantly
• All      articles were required to be free from grammatical errors or spelling      mistakes
• Was      selected to write small business articles for some well-known companies

Educational Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Human Resource Management – Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland

I received a 2.1 grade in this 4 year honours degree which covered core business subjects and also specialised in the human resource management profession. (2008-2010)

As part of this course, I also spent 6 months studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic on an ERASMUS exchange where I successfully completed a semester from January 2009 - June 2009

Dissertation: Member Satisfaction with Trade Union representation within the Public Sector (Published by Lapp Publishers, Germany and for sale in some of the world’s leading online bookstores)

I received a Merit Grade 1 in this 2 year course which covered all aspect of the business world. (2006-2008)
