Reason for leaving:  Personal safety reasons.  I was housed in diplomatic compound and was stalked by Arab men in cars.

The CAI was established  25 years ago by Greg Mortenson.  His charity builds schools in the remote mountainous areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, with particular emphsis on educating girls.  All employees, administrators and teachers are natives, except the head office in Bozeman.  Mr. Mortenson co-wrote “Three Cups of Tea,” a world-wide best seller.  The CAI current over-sees approximately 250 schools.
