I prepared lesson plans and designed power points and materials for middle school students. I taught 

native English conversation skills, vocabulary, facilitated conversation throughout classes. I also 

recruited student reporters to write English articles for the school newspaper, selected article topics, and 

edited the articles that were submitted.

Teaching Practicum (at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral Grammar School)

Prepared and implemented lesson plans to teach English Language Arts to students ages 18-40 in a multicultural environment. Adapted curriculum to students of different cultures and backgrounds – both native and non-native speakers – to develop cognitive, academic and language abilities where students can function effectively in monolingual English-speaking settings.
