Contracted one year to teach California curriculum for maths http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/ and then the middle management shockingly defaulted on their contract after my working visa was obtained by the Taiwan immigration. I am currently having the issue looked at by the Taiwan labor office.

2012 08 – 2015 02 Substitute Teacher Tokyo, Japan  Math Teacher

Worked on call for a student finding agent (any age). a public/private Japanese school (grade 6), a foreign international school (grade 9 to 12), and an eikaiwa (business and senior age).

Taiyuan International School: GAC/ACT Pre-calculus, Statistics, Computer Science. No. 2 Beijing Middle School International dept: Taught Calculus, Pre-calculus, Trigonometry, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Probability, Physics. McGraw Hill textbooks. Duties included semester grading, lectures, homework assignments. Also teaching how to use online course interface for US class credit. SAT, ACT. Yunnan Normal University Affiliated High School International dept: China/Canadian program ran by Canada Department of Education called Nova Scotia. Peking University Affiliated High School: Taught Thomson curricula for english teaching. Beilun High School International dept:  GAC Level III Calculus, Level I Foundation. A foreign math teacher at Calculus/Algebra level at the Australian International department at the top municipal public school. The school runs an international program preparing students for international study at universities such as Northeast University Boston, Mass. USA.

Taught Cambridge examination to grades 9,10. Supplemented the design of curriculum to make more use of available Cambridge material such as AS, A, Pre-U, AICE level.  

Taught IB Math SL to grades 11, 12. Used ppt to teach, but also extensive student to white-board practice. 

Taught AP Calculus to grades 11, 12. Used ppt to teach. And student to white-board.

Made mid-term and final exams myself; submitted to administration for approval. Submitted weekly reports on progress of course and students. Kept daily attendance. 

Taught TOEFL across from a PGA program that rented an office on the campus. I introduced American culture.
