Freelance Event Executive (2010-2012)

Carlson Wagonlit Travel Agency, Handsup Event Agency, Division Communication and Redfilo Events

·         I was part of a team that executed a 5-day event for Facebook’s First APEC Conference held in Thailand. I was involved in the conference logistics, daily operations, flight transfers and dinner.

·         Gained experience in running an event, liaising with suppliers and venues. I was one of the key players responsible for the formation of the look, feel and aesthetics for the event.

·         Gained experience in idea generation to tight deadlines, proposals, doing product launches and special events, especially in fashion shows.

·         Was part of the core team for ZbBz Celebratory ( Zao Bao Bao Zhi), Barcardi Halloween Clarke Quay, Adidas new product launch, Chanel fashion show, Topshop Knightsbridge Opening, Laneige product launch and Ion fashion week.

·         Was part of the core planning team for Summer In Abu Dhabi, a six-week event that was backed by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority. About 54,244 people attended the event, which involved a total of 110 international performers, 60 minders and 24 event management staff. I managed the minders and was the in charge of the execution for the different malls and hall.
