Currently running my own training center. My students are from between 4 to 16. I teach a wide range of skills from speaking, to listening as well as test preparation. Many of my students have been with me for  2 to 3 years and have seen their English ability improve dramatically. I take pride in having small classes that are given individual attrention. Many of my studentshave goneon to some of the best middle schools and high schools in Guangzhou, I instruct students through a mix of active learning activities as well as written and listening activities. My students learn through a curicculm ive developed through my extensive years of treaching that focuses on hand on practical learning and reinforces English skills through vairious role play techniques as well as practical every day activities.

Currently teaching English to vocational training students. Students are preparing for a career in the Hotel/Hospitality/Tourism field. Teaching a variety of classes that include Hotel/Travel English, Tour Guide English, General Poken English. Students are taught English that will be used in their prospective careers as well as taught customs and culture  that will assist them in being able to better understand the foreign guest and traveler.

Taught English to young learners aged 3-8. Teaching includes a varied curriculum from songs, games and story books. Due to the young age of the children, classes are designed to be very interactive and fast paced to keep children interested and engaged. The focus of the classes are to maximize the speaking component to give each child the maximum amount of interaction with the teacher and classmates  as well as to reinforce the target vocabulary through creative and fun repetition techniques.

Taught university level credit courses to English Majors. The courses taught include Advanced Writing, Listening, Speaking/Conversation and Business English. In addition to courses taught I have mentored numerous students on interview preparation for English job interviews as well as debate topics for competitions. In addition to my teaching requirements I also volunteer additional time to English focused organizations and activities at the campus.

Taught English to children from the ages of 5-13 in a variety of creative and interactive ways. Through the creation of interactive power point presentations students are able to participate in a multitude of hands on learning activities. The class is built around an interactive white board where students take part in the learning from a hands on approach. The lessons are designed by myself and a co-teacher to increase students participation and enjoyment of the class.

Global Leader Program English Teacher

Taught English to Freshman students entering the university. Responsible for initially evaluating the students English-speaking ability and placing them in the respective classes. Taught beginning students basic English fundamentals while the more advanced students a curriculum designed to benefit them in studying abroad. Created the English curriculum that was used in all of our courses.

English teacher for students from aged 5-16. Taught a Kindergarten class for beginning students and saw their proficiency improve dramatically. Through the use of fun and creative activities taught everything from basic alphabet and phonics to more advanced conversation and speaking for the older students.

Taught English-speaking classes to students of all ages from kindergarten to 16. In the kindergarten courses students learned through a variety of techniques incorporating physical education, math as well as science courses. In the P.E classes children built upon language learned and used in a physical setting. In science courses the students gained a better understanding of English through experiments and math related material.
