Teaching students how to read, write and speak English in a large and successful comprehensive. Providing a classroom presence and contributing to the positive ethos of the school. I can develop demonstrating energy, vision and creativity in students.

Duties:

^Ø   Teaching English Language & Sciences up to High School level.

^Ø    Helping pupils to define and identify different types of verbs.

^Ø   Tailoring English teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of English classes. Conducting up to 5 classes in one day.

^Ø   Recording and monitoring a student’s attendance. Marking work and giving appropriate feedback to pupils. Devising and writing new curriculum materials.

^Ø   Preparing pupils for external examinations, such as GCSE and A-level. Managing pupils’ behaviour in the classroom and on school premises. Administrating examinations.

^Ø   Helping pupils to improve their conversational English. Taught ESL students and small low ability groups.

^Ø   Putting up displays in the classroom.

^Ø   Liaising with other professionals such as educational psychologists. Keeping parents updated about their child's progress.

^Ø   Arranging homework for schoolchildren.

^Ø    Stressing the importance of context to language learning.
