—I feel every student can reach their learning goals. As a teacher, I promise to use proper assessments, develop appropriate lesson plans and challenge students in their learning.
—I feel every student can learn from making mistakes, feel free to express their opinions and ask for help when needed. As a teacher, I promise to encourage students to work in an environment respectful of ones culture and learning abilities.
—I feel every student can be responsible to work independently and as part of a team to complete assignments, tasks and projects. As a teacher, I will teach students the importance of achieving personal and team oriented goals.
—I feel every student can transfer their skills and learning to the global world and become productive members of society. As a teacher, I will encourage critical thinking and relate learning in the class to real life situations.

Each day as I stand outside my classroom greeting students, I always have the biggest smile on my face! Prior to completing my Bachelor of Education Degree at Queen's University, I worked for three years in South Korea teaching ESL. Following convocation, I immediately started teaching grade 2 at Lincoln International School in Nepal. Currently, I am completing my Masters of Education in Science with a focus on Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL). I am seeking to fill a primary/elementary classroom or ESL position.
Though many cultures are different, I feel my easy-going personality, care for my students and enthusiastic teaching style will always remain constant. At Lincoln International School in Nepal I coached basketball, Track and Field, facilitated a Leader in Me program, and helped the Parents Association raise money for worthy causes. In addition, I also supported my students and helped an orphanage to recover after the massive earthquake in April.
My teaching style enables students to work independently, to realize mistakes are part of learning, to feel safe and secure in the class and to recognize that we all learn differently!
I am very motivated person that loves new challenges. Most importantly, I feel I have an ability to work as part of a team to help my students become productive members of the community. I am very enthusiastic to work at such a wonderful school, and know I can make a positive contribution to the students and staff.
