  Opening up the school every morning, greeting the students and parents as they arrived for class and answering any questions the parents might have. 

Teaching small classes of kindergarten aged students, English, using action based songs, competitive games, phonics, practical craft making, text books and much more.                      

Teaching specific phonics classes using the ‘Jolly Phonics’ teaching pack. First, teaching the students each letter’s phonetic sound, 

then blending the sounds to make short words that the students read, 

progressing to more complicated, phonetic sounds when each student was ready.

Online English Tutor 18/02/15 – 27/06/15

I was employed by a company that offers online English tutoring to Chinese students. The company has its own website and ‘online teaching software’- 

all promotional/trail classes and teaching was carried out on this platform. My responsibilities included; Preparing lesson plans that were then posted to my 

‘Teachers Profile’, so that students browsing the site could decide which tutor they wanted to take classes with. 

Teaching promotional classes to individual students and/or groups of students, 

with the aim of getting more students to sign up for my classes. Teaching Students via web-cam and microphone. 

Private Tutor (Full-Time) 07/07/’14-03/01/’15

Acting as a full-time tutor, to a 6 year old girl from Mainland China, who had moved to HK with her family. 

As a full-time position, I was responsible for creating lesson plans in the subjects of English, Math, Science and history-in accordance with the Hong Kong school curriculum. 

Then delivering those lessons on a one on one basis, in the student’s home. 

Zhuhai Primary School [Affiliated With Peaking University]

Teaching grades 1-9，teaching oral English and a set curriculum provided by the school. Because of the big gap in age and grade, 

I use a lot of different teaching styles and methods as the students/particular class, dictated.

Class Teacher.

Teaching a class of 25, 5-6  year olds how to speak English; through games, songs, activities and text books, in the most prestigious kindergarten in Zhuhai.

Teaching groups of  K2 students for 2.5 hours a day, 5 mornings a week; oral English, phonics and grammar. Preparing lesson plans, including songs, games and interactive learning.

Teaching classes of 5 to 9 year olds spoken English, phonics and grammar. Preparing lessons based on the course text book (Magic English) provided by the school.
