Previous Work Experience

Zengcheng Country Garden School 2015Now

I currently work in a private Primary School in Zengcheng Guangzhou. I teach oral english to

grade 1 and 3 as well as all levels of kindergarten. I work alongside local teachers to teach and

reinforce oral english skills.

EF Hangzhou East School 20142015

I worked with EF teaching kids of various levels of English from the age of four to sixteen. I

was responsible for creating fun and engaging activities for students to learn and practice

english. I also preformed placement tests to put students into the right level With my TOEFL

certification I also helped prepare students to learn abroad.

Camp Temagami summers of 2011 2013

I was a Trip Guide, responsible for planning, packing and guiding canoe trips for children, for

as little as a few nights to over a month. We would plan the route, meals and the gear

for the entire trip and then lead the trip. We would teach the kids the hard and soft skills

necessary to stay healthy and safe in the wilderness. Teamwork is heavily emphasized as

everyone needs to pull their weight to get to where we need to go.

Co Ex Tech summers of 20082011

I was a student responsible for helping out the quality control department of Co Ex Tech,

a division of Magna. I would measure prototype parts to make sure they were up to

specifications of the customer before they were put into production. I would collect data and

type it up in a presentable manner for our customers.

Education

120 hours advanced international TESOL certificate, specialization in TOEFL preparation.

Bachelor of Cognitive Science completed at Carleton University, with a Minor in Philosophy.

High School Completed at The Country Day School.
