EXPERIENCE

International House, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Four week intensive Celta course from January 6^th 2014 to 31^st January. Completed 6 hours of observed classroom teaching(5-13 students) at Pre-Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate levels.

Completed nine lesson plans and four language analysis sheets. The lessons were aimed at increasing students’ receptive and productive skills as well as language construction.

Completed six hours of experienced teacher observation and competed feedback.

Completed four assignments aimed at increasing my knowledge of the language and the framework for teaching it to students.

Teaching in China for fourteen weeks completing twenty hours of teaching per week. The students’ were predominantly aged 5-11 but I did have 4 hours of teaching Adult and High School students.

The experience of actual teaching has been invaluable. Lesson planning and exra-curricular duties to promote the school were part of my working week.

Teaching Grade 1 and 2 students in a public High School in Panzhihua. Lesson plans structured to improve Oral English, concentrating on speaking and listening skills. As well as delivering interesting cultural lessons I have also been involved in many social activities within the school and the city.

I am seeking to continue my teaching career after developing a passion to travel.

My passion for education will enable me to stimulate students from diverse backgrounds and provide superior teaching.
