Academic, Military, and Civilian Education and Training Experience:

May 13 - Sept. 15 - Second grade homeroom English (ESL) teacher (math, science, reading, health, and physical education) and after school tutor (students), cross-disciplinary English Immersion Program at Anabanmuangmai Chonburi School in Samed, Chonburi, Thailand. I was responsible for developing, programming, and delivering a cross-disciplinary English language curriculum for “zero” English language level children using a holistic approach toward language acquisition. I focused on task-based TCS (task, conditions, and standards), active learning, and cooperative learning approaches in my immersion classrooms.

Jul. 11 - Dec. 12 - Aviation Advisor/Teacher and Maintenance Supervisor, Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF), Saudi Arabia. In my capacities with the RSAF, I worked with and trained my RSAF counterparts in the technical aspects of each of the categories listed above. My role gave me certain and specific insight into RSAF technical English language training and training needs. My positions also educated me about RSAF personnel strengths and weaknesses in the practical application of technical general and technical English. All technical publications and manuals, forms & records were printed in the English language.
