Cartwright School District – Instrumental music (band and strings).
Instruction for fourth through eighth grade in the area of band and stringed instruments.
Duties and responsibilities include: Lesson planning and student assessment, formation of multilevel performance groups (beginning, intermediate and advanced), collaborating with district directors for festivals, maintaining inventory of district owned instruments, performing minor repairs as needed, coordinating with music vendors for repairs and supplies, working with classroom teachers to maximize learning in and out of the music environment. 
Additional activities:  After school guitar club and rock-band for small groups.

- Remote radar site maintenance while living in Turkey; additional duties included acting as official liaison between General Electric and the U.S. Air Force; additional duties included writing technical study manuals and providing training for coworkers.

Provided private instruction for students; curriculum included playing techniques for modern guitar, improvising over known and new material, sight reading studies, fret board skills, music theory (melodic and harmonic) and general practice techniques.
 
20+ years of private guitar instruction - mainly one on one /small groups as well as countless
performances and recording sessions in the Jazz, Pop, R&B and Gospel genres. Experiences have included performances in large and small venues with international recording artists, faculty
members of universities, Big Bands, Jazz Ensembles and countless local musicians.

Recording Engineer   1994 - Present
Engineer for several home-based recording facilities – extensive knowledge of midi
sequencing techniques and hard disk recording/editing as well as live sound reinforcement.
