·     5 years experience in teaching English abroad, throughout China, developed my interpersonal skills and teaching skills. I also developed my patience and adaptability towards people of different cultural backgrounds.

·     Graduated with BSc (Hons) in Geography Environmental Science, at Bradford University, West  Yorkshire. Applicable academical/practical knowledge in a wide range of projects in the field, laboratory; through presenting speeches and carrying out case studies on a variety of geographical topics, all of which developed my overall language skills.

·     I persevered and learnt Tai Chi Yang style in my spare time by actively seeking out a Tai Chi teacher to teach me whilst I worked at Hubei Art and Science University as an English teacher. This proves that I have the motivation to learn a new skill and to make improvements to my health.

·     I worked for Creative Spaces CIC, as a Landscape Operative. Worked in the community sector on hard/soft landscaping projects. In this job role I was trained and acquired many licenses on the safe use of machinery. This job gave me my first taste of a proper full time job after my University course and I learnt many things including how to be independent. The company worked in partnership with Bradford Environmental Education Service (BEES), a Nature Conservation company. I developed supervisory skills whilst I managed volunteers from all backgrounds and ages.

·     Worked in busy environments such as at: Nandos Chicken Restaurant and Center Parcs. These developed my organisational skills and time keeping skills under a rushed and stressful work environment.

·          Prepared lesson plans and delivered my teaching both with the aid of multi-media facilities and also in a more traditional way with the use of chalk and a blackboard.  I worked with co-teacher to design and implement effective teaching strategies.

·         Developed and challenged my sense of confidence and self-esteem through interrelating and imparting my knowledge to my students to help them in their personal development and academic studies.

·         Fieldwork carried out, such as in The Lake District, Cumbria and the Algarve, Portugal. Worked in teams and on my own initiative on Ecological, Geological and Geographical projects on a given region, producing critical, analytical and statistical data.

·         Learnt a wide range of skills from practical on the field analysis, quantifiable in lab data analysis, using statistical and technical computer evaluation.

·         Developed my critical thinking and communication skills through debate, written assignments and research.
