WORK EXPERIENCE

Lampang Rajabhat University (2010 until the present)

I teach in the English department which is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. I teach a range of English language subjects such as English for Tourism, English for Communication, Children’s Literature, and Analytical and Critical Reading. I have taken an active role in research- both as an independent researcher and as a part of various research teams. I have also been involved in curriculum development, teacher training, and English camps. I have very much enjoyed working at Lampang Rajabhat University and consider myself particularly well suited to teaching at university level.

Nawattaphume International School, Lampang  (May 2008 -2010)

I worked in the primary section of the school. I served as the head of English, and I was home room teacher for year one. I took a very active role at the school and started several new initiatives such as the reading club and card points reward system that continue to run successfully to this day.  

Robert’s Language School, Kunming (September 2004 – 2008)

Robert’s language school is a private language school located in Kunming. It teaches English to all age groups. I was employed as head teacher of foreign teachers at this school in the last year I taught there. I taught children and adults. I was actively involved in the following areas: Examination author, oral examiner curriculum development, teacher training, and hosting meetings.

Kunming Guang Hua School (September 2003 to June 2004)

Kunming Guang Hua School has a kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school. I mainly taught primary school first and third grade. I was also actively involved in the following areas: Examination paper author, oral examiner, curriculum development, and author of activity book for students.

Harbin Star Foreign Language College (May 2002 to July 2003)

Responsibilities primarily included teaching University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate Examination (UCLES) focused English to upper intermediate level students. I taught a range of ages and abilities from kindergarten to adult, elementary through to advanced levels. Furthermore I was actively involved in the following areas: Curriculum development, resource development.
