In 2011 I graduated with a 2.2 in the subject of History at the University of the West of England.  Excellent English language and literature skills were essential to achieve marks in the essays set and reading assignments given.  Throughout my three years at University I wrote over sixty thousands words and completed all of the essays set to a high level.  The pinnacle of my degree was completing a nine thousand word independent dissertation on Nazi propaganda during World War II. 

After graduating from University, I had an overwhelming desire to travel. I chose to travel around Europe for a summer, to explore new cultures. For the most of it I spent in Italy. 

Whilst in Italy, I volunteered at a school, my sister had been working at that summer. This experienced urged me to do the same, as I thoroughly enjoyed working with and teaching the children English. When I returned to England, I volunteered at Sunrise nursery, Southampton. The roles at this nursery included one-to-one time (eg songs, matching cards, speech and language therapy games) and Teaching assistant for all subjects including English. Planning, Organisation, record keeping, strong character, good sense of humour and patience were essential every day to fulfill the needs of the children.

I moved to Ha Noi city five years ago, working for Cleverlearn, Alphabet English Centre, Maple Bear Kindergarten, KIC Montessori, KinderCare and Just Kids, as an English teacher, specialising with young children, aged one to sixteen. I am polite, friendly, helpful, punctual and organised. I also understand the importance of using my own initiative and working as apart of a team to achieve the best results as an English Teacher.

I am very determined and have loved being an English Teacher here in Ha Noi and have a genuine desire to succeed. Teaching English as a foreign language is appealing to me because I can utilize my skills, develop as an individual and gain cultural experiences.
