Manager | Coral racing | march ’17 – august ‘17

·     This job is not really in my field of interest, it was merely a stop gap before returning to China, however it was a good learning experience.

English teacher / foreign manager | first leap | march ’15 – march ‘16

·     I loved this job and was responsible for teaching lessons which covered the school’s preset curriculum. Interacting with the kids every day was a fantastic experience. Sadly, sudden ill health forced a return to England (I’m now fine). The school contact me regularly to see if I will return to them, this is a fantastic compliment, but for now I’d like to stay in a bigger city.

Online teaching experience

     I’ve been working on a casual basis for Tutor Group (Tutor VIP) for the last three years. I feel working with students of different ages and varying language abilities has been very helpful for me as a teacher. I will continue to work for Tutor Group, but really, I do prefer teaching face to face in a classroom.

Education

Chinese language | 09/2017 - present | nanjing university of chinese medicine

·     HSK levels 1, 2 and 3.

·     HSKK speaking test: elementary.

·     Time allowing, I would also like to pursue my interest in Chinese martial arts.

High school diploma | 1995 - 2000 | Magdalen college school (England)

·     GCSE’s taken in all core subjects.

·     I took optional courses in French, history and food technology.
