Various Freelance International Contracts, Sept 2016 – Present

Royal Family of Qatar – I managed a team of 6 nannies, 3 nurses and 5 tutors from a variety of countries. I was responsible for the English education of 4 children from 1.5 - 8 years old. I held regular meetings and training sessions, found ways to improve learning and wrote weekly progress reports.

Family in Melbourne, Australia – I cared for two children aged 5 and 8, before and after school. I tutored homework, organised play dates and creative and outdoors activities.

I taught a Reception Class of 4-5 yr old children from a variety of countries, following the EYFS British Curriculum within an international setting. I coordinated activities for International Week and set up a local networking group for early years educators in Yangon.

Royal Family of Abu Dhabi - Tutoring National Curriculum subjects for a 5 yr old boy whilst the family were travelling in Europe

President of Armenia, Yerevan - Tutoring 3 girls from aged between 3-10 yrs. old, English language through activities, games and educational excursions. All children made excellent progress.

As a private tutor for 9 year old twins, who I had previously worked with in Moscow, I developed I.E.P’s following the National Curriculum, to prepare for the 11+ school entry exams. I was responsible for English language learning and all other aspects of education and development. I also worked part-time with another VIP client with a 2.5 yr old girl introducing English language through play and Montessori materials.

First Light International Kindergarten, Moscow Aug 2012 – May 2013

My role as Head Teacher of this newly established kindergarten was varied and dynamic. We followed the EYFS and British National Curriculum and adapted our planning to suit the needs of our students. I worked closely with the owners of the school in the recruitment of new staff, developed school policies and timetables, monitored classroom practice and planning and regularly communicated with parents.

As Head of Early Years I was responsible for my own Nursery 2 class as well as the planning and assessment for Nursery and Kindergarten classes. I worked closely with the senior management team to ensure that the planning and delivery of our Early Years curriculum was up to date and of a consistently high standard. I ran workshops for parents and nannies on Child Development and held regular meetings with management and staff.

I was responsible for planning the curriculum, testing, time-tabling and monitoring academic achievement during summer camps.
