Tree Surgeon and Arborist - Roman River Tree Care (2015 - 2018)
I was a foreman and run my own team, but also setting up teams every morning with equipment, hiring and
trialling employees and pre-planning the days ahead for all staff, vast knowledge of health and safety
needed. Carrying out site specific and general risk assessments on a daily basis, for the teams to go to site
and work in a safe, controlled and professional manner. Performing various types of tree surgery, including
tree reduction, removal, maintenence and occasional hedging reductions. Directing and instructing teams of
workers to ensure the job is carried out safely and effiiciently. Excellent communication skills needed.
Tree Surgeon and Company Owner - Chippy's Trees and Garden Services (2013 - 2015)
A fast paced and busy role, I was responsible for setting up my own company in order to further pursue my
career goals and gain experience. Labouring during the day whilst also entirely responsible for all
advertising, marketing, coordination of work, as well as invoicing, pay and quoting jobs. Personal liability
and employer's liability insurance held. Knowledge of general tree practice and detailed legal knowledge
necessary. I also gained a contract for a few years with the Colchester & Tendring Women's Refuge
Charity helping maintain the grounds of two homes in the local area.
Pre School Teacher - Busy Bees Pre School/Nursery (2012-2013)
I gained experience working with Children in England at pre school, ages ranging from 2-5 years old. I
worked in a varitety of subjects including English, I was mainly involved helping develop a vocabulary,
reading, handwriting, spelling and correct pronunciation
Floor Fitter - Troph's Floor Fittings (2012)
My duties involved travelling to various sites around the country and labouring each day. Based
predominantly in London, this was a very strict and skilled role that involved a lot of common sense and
quick thinking, as well as efficient working.
