Throughout professional practice in library my responsibilities were related to statistical analysis of title resources per subject used by our customers. Opening and processing new membership requests. Previously obtained IT knowledge was applied during the (UDC) Universal Decimal Classification of title and customers. Particularly my knowledge in ISBN – International Security Book Numbering that is closely related to data base development has been applied during my practice experience in this library.

Apart from regular practice responsibilities in library which included processing new members, cataloguing new titles and organizing book files, I was especially involved in the implementation of the COBISS - Co-operative Online Bibliographic System & Services, which is an organizational model used to join libraries in a uniform library information system with shared cataloguing. Regionally applied this system is covering Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. It was particularly interesting to practice and develop skills in this joint IT platform used by several countries in the region.

During this practice, I was involved in the implementation of kobSon informational platform in university library. This platform enables profiling more than 35.000 titles of foreign academic magazines, approximately 60.000 titles of academic and other titles as well as several index data-bases. Searching on kobSon portal is possible per several search criteria. I was especially trained to perform those searches and developed skill in data-base management.
