November 2018: Work Experience with Rhun ap Iorwerth AM

· Work experience with my local Assembly Member on Anglesey as well as working in his office in the Welsh Parliament in Cardiff.

· My duties included researching and creating briefs on a range of reports and policies produced by the Welsh Government, civil society and the business sector in order to advise my Assembly Member on the Assembly’s day to day activity in a punctual manner.

· While working in Rhun ap Iorwerth’s office on Anglesey, I had the opportunity to deal with sensitive cases put forward by constituents, demonstrating my reliability, trustworthiness and honesty in dealing with confidential casework.   

August 2018: Assistant English Teacher Aberystwyth University  

· Teaching Japanese and Chinese students both conversational and academic English in preparation for their undergraduate studies with other professional TEFOL teachers.

· Responsible for designing lesson plans and delivering lessons to students whose levels of English varied widely, demonstrating my confidence and communication skills in front of large groups and leading a classroom.

2012-2016 Volunteer at Holyhead’s Maritime Museum

· Responsible for leading groups of tourists of all ages and nationalities around the museum’s exhibits in an engaging, polite, and friendly manner.

· Volunteering with the museum has demonstrated my commitment to my local community educating tourists and visitors from afar about Holyhead’s unique history. This has also increased my confidence in dealing with large groups of people as well as my communication skills.
